German amateur standout Robert Woge to give his pro-debut on March 27

Robert Woge
Four-time German amateur champion Robert Woge (25) will give his eagerly anticipated pro-debut on March 27th in Hamburg. The light heavyweight will enter the ring when ARENA teams up with major German TV station SAT.1 for the first time. "I can't wait for the first bell", says Woge. "I'm all fired up to prove that I can be as succesful as a pro as I have been as amateur."
Promoter Ahmet Öner is excited about his new prospect as well: "Robert has been of of the best German amateurs but he always fought with a pro-style. He is very aggressive and always looking to knockout his opponents. He punches very hard and can take a punch as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does at the pros."
"His division is also very attractive and has a great tradition in Germany", adds Öner. "I hope that names like Henry Maske, Graciano Rocchigiani or Dariusz Michalczewski don't intimidate him. But I am sure that he can continue their legacy of great German light heavyweight champions. But of course, we all know that Rome wasn't built in a day and we will give him all the time he needs to become a great fighter."
